Tatiara Country Fire Service volunteers Alan Morcom (Keith), Hugh Hill (Laffer) and Barry Carter (Senior) received their 50 Year SACFS Service Medal at the weekend celebration.
Tatiara's Country Fire Service Volunteers were honoured at Mundulla Memorial Hall, receiving medals and commemorations for achievements and years of dedicated service to the area.

Mr Barry Carter said he always had a story to tell, following his years working alongside CFS volunteers.
"We had a budget to run, I think, 14 trucks in Tatiara, of $120,000 and, boy that was tight," he said.
"It is a lot better today, despite complications."
Mr Carter, Mr Morcom and Mr Hill share their 50 year service medal with less than 400 South Australian volunteers since 2009.
The event celebrated recipients of National Medals, SACFS Service Medals and Life Membership recognition.
Many members of the Tatiara district were honored recipients at the awards ceremony, however, many could not attend for personal reasons.
These individuals were still named and recognised throughout the afternoon and absence apologies were given by Mr Andrew Lawson, master of ceremony.
"Never under value... never under estimate the value of the country fire service volunteers," he said.
"Please, wear your full sized medal with pride."

Medals and recognition went to many CFS volunteers around the district.
