The Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara football match between the teams which are first and second on the ladder was hard-fought and extremely tight with seven lead changes.
Lucindale led for most of the game and came from behind to win by three points over Mundulla.

The Kangaroos started with a behind then Cane worked the ball to Williams who kicked truly from a tight angle. Mundulla replied when Nick Mosey directed a pass to Hinge who took a strong one-handed mark and made no mistake.
The Roos' Clarke and Trembath drove the ball to Tregoweth who goaled, then the Tigers' Gaden passed to Hinge who juggled a mark and kicked truly to level the scores.
Lucindale's Anthony McCarthy and Tregoweth drove the ball forward where Williams again made no mistake then the Moots' McGrice created a goal from nothing to briefly give Mundulla the lead before the Kangaroos levelled the scores with a behind then retook the lead with a goal by Bradley McCarthy, back home and playing with his two brothers.
Mundulla replied when Kuchel and Redden drove the ball to McGrice who goaled off one step, then Nankivell was awarded a free and kicked truly after the siren to give the Tigers the quarter-time lead 5-2-32 to 4-3-27.
The Roos retook the lead in the first minute of the second term when Badman and Cane worked thll to Trembath who goaled, and their second major came when Spriggs took an intercept mark and kicked truly.
Mundulla's Guy and Nankivell drove the ball to Hinge who ran in and goaled, then King slammed the ball forward where Hinge marked in the goal-square and made no mistake.
After a behind by Lucindale the Tigers took the ball down the wing and King soccered a goal, then Noll and Hamish Young drove the ball forward where Hinge kicked truly from a tight angle.
The Kangaroos' Anthony McCarthy and Gordon worked the ball into attack where Sam Teakle won a free with a fine tackle and made no mistake, and at half-time the Moots led 9-4-58 to 7-4-46.
The first half had been free-flowing, but the second half was a scrappy, dour tussle.
The Roos dominated play but only scored four behinds in the first half of the third quarter before Tregoweth directed a pass to Trembath who made no mistake, then Cane and Trembath drove the ball deep into attack where May crumbed a goal.
Mundulla's only score for the term was a late behind and at three-quarter time Lucindale led 9-8-62 to 9-5-59.
Early in the last quarter the Kangaroos scored a couple behinds before the Tigers drove the ball into attack and after a minor score Pickering again drove the ball forward where McGrice won a free with a strong tackle and kicked truly to give the Tigers a 2-point lead.
Gordon, Jones and Gould were excellent for the Roos and Pickering featured strongly for the Moots after his under-17 match.
The rest of the match was mostly played between the two forward fifty zones, but the Roos forced two behinds to level the scores, then locked the ball in their forward line and took the lead with three more behinds to win the enthralling match 9-15-69 to 10-6-66, after which Mundulla's McGrice was carried off the oval on the shoulders of Lucindale players to commemorate his 250th game.
