A tight fought 1st quarter, with only 1 goal scored by Red's Cooper Woods just before 1/4 time. Lots of good tackles across the entire pitch. Some early scoring shots for Black, with most of the 2nd quarter played in Black's half despite some good attempts at goals, both teams did not convert. A nice goal scored by Red's Hannah Harkness started of the 3rd quarter. This saw Black keen to score, with many turn overs. Boston Loller from Black scored a goal after time was held due to clash of heads.
Blue (1) def Green (0)

A perfect winters day for hockey: sun's out, a gentle breeze, and 26 enthusiastic hockey players. Plenty of play back and forth in the 1st quarter. Some good runs into attack by Lilly Warnest for Green. An early short corner for Blue in the 2nd quarter, which was well defended by Green. A fast break hi by Michael Darbyshire was almost converted by Rufus Loller for Blue. 2 more short corners for Blue followed, both defended well by Green. The 3rd quarter started as an even affair. Both teams attacking and defending well. A lovely through ball by Declan O'Connor set up Rufus Loller who converted. Two short corners were awarded to Green, but they were unable to score. The 4th quarter was even with both teams attacking well. Sarah Bradley, Finn Quilter, and Samuel Opie all playing well for Green. Blue had many final attempts to score but couldn't convert.
MENS

Solid 1st quarter, strong defense from both teams, and in the last few minutes, Keith was awarded a couple of short corners, but were unable to convert. Halfway through the 2nd quarter, Bordertown was continuing to fight hard and was awarded two short corners of their own. Strong hits from Bordertown, but Bruce Loller made a great save to keep the score nil all at halftime. The 3rd quarter started off slow, but some good competition. Near goal by Rohan Austin, ball was hit across goal, he dived, and just missed. In the last 10 mins of 4th quarter, Ben Stevens scored a beautiful goal off a short corner. Bordertown gets the ball in their attacking circle as Tim Diment goes for a goal, but only just misses.

Brody Lock scored 2 goals in the 1st quarter. The game started even, but momentum swung in Western Flat's way more in the latter of the 1st quarter. Western Flat had lots of play but were held out strongly by Willalooka. Willalooka had a few quick breaks but were unable to score. Evenly fought 3rd quarter - ball moving back and forth between both teams. Clean hit by Hamish Verco to make the score 3-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Great shot from Tyson Battersby in the 4th quarter to put Willalooka on the score board. Nice finish in front of goal by Marc Rowsell to lengthen Western Flat's lead. Brody Lock managed to score his 3rd goal for the game in the dying seconds of the 4th quarter.
WOMENS
Keith (3) def Bordertown (2)

Keith came out strong in the 1st quarter with a couple of great breaks and goals. Austin Boyce from Keith was first to score, 5 mins into the 1st quarter. Hannah Harkness from Keith brought the ball up the field fantastically, resulting in a short corner. Darcy Loller scored a goal for Keith from the short. After much strong back and forth from both teams, Elf Williams from Bordertown scored, bringing the halftime score to 2-1, Keith's way. Keith again came out strong with a few shorts, but Bordertown held strong, eventually gaining their own short, but were unable to convert. Austin Boyce from Keith was excited to get his second goal of the game. Bordertown scored their second goal from Elf Williams.
Willalooka (4) def Mundulla (0)

Willalooka came out hard early, earning a short corner and converting through Jaime Densley. Mundulla defended well through Jess Waggs. Willalooka scored after Bec Cass was able to finish off a series of passes that cut through the Mundulla defence. Jaime Densley scored again from a short corner with a strong hit. Mundulla increased the pressure, and the game became a tight tussle. Willalooka started the 4th quarter quickly, with Jaime Densley scoring her third goal of the game.
