Just before 2pm this afternoon, CFS crews were called to a house fire on English Street at Bordertown.
Around 16 CFS volunteer firefighters on four trucks attended the blaze, with other emergency support being provided by SA Ambulance and SA Police personnel.
The crew arrived to find the house still on fire, and implemented a range of defensive and offensive firefighting strategies to both limit the damage within the house and also stop the fire from spreading to other properties.
Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the incident.
The firefighters allege the fire started in the front room of the house, and fire cause investigators are currently at the scene to determine the cause of the blaze.
It is estimated that the damage caused by fire is around $190,000.
More information will be provided once it is released.
