Bordertown library to host school holiday program

With the Autumn school holiday's fast approaching, children across the Tatiara will be eager to get out and about enjoy their break.

Bordertown Public Library will provide a number of entertainment options during the upcoming break, hosting three events as part of their 'October School Holiday Program'.

All of the shows cater to children from Year 7 and younger, with all the shows expected to bring out their inner kid.

The first show will be the 'Reduce Reuse Recycle Craft' event, which is organised by the Bordertown Spring Festival committee, on October 1 from 10:30am-12pm.

Children will make a number of craft designs which may be entered into the Bordertown Spring Festival and Show.

The second show will be a 'Magic Workshop' on October 2 from 10:30am-12pm, and will see a magician reveal his favourite magic tricks and show children how to perform them.

Each child will receive their own magic kit to take home and "amaze their family and friends". The event is suitable for children between the ages of 8-12.

The final show is titled 'Mr Snot Bottom Family Show' and will be held on October 11 at 1:30pm.

The free show is brimming with all the gooey, smelly and yucky things children adore.

Fun entertainment for the family, it is designed for "strange kids and their even stranger parents".

All show bookings are done via the Bordertown Public Library, and for any information, contact 8752 1473.
