Tatiara local are getting an opportunity to tantalise their taste buds with Keith's The Purple Paddock offering olive oil tasting throughout this week.

Member Sheryl Hunt said lucky customers have the chance to taste a range of olive oil produced by Pendleton Olive Estate.

Sheryl said Pendleton Olive Estate was a "local success story", winning awards with its locally produced olives.

"This award-winning company is a local success story, growing, harvesting and then cold pressing their olives in their own olive mill in Keith, the largest in South Australia," Sheryl said.

"Their business statement safeguards a premium product 'our paddock to plate philosophy ensures we control the whole process from tree to bottle'."

Sheryl also mentioned the quality of the oil doesn't just provide a great taste, but also has known health benefits.

"As the Pendleton Estate olives are cold pressed once, their natural 'Extra Virgin Olive Oil' is of the highest quality, full of rich fruit flavour, goodness and antioxidants, which are known to reduce the risk of heart disease," Sheryl said.

"The Purple Paddock carries a comprehensive range of olive oil products from Pendleton Estate and welcomes customers to come and try some this week. Complimented with crusty bread and dukkah."

The tastings will be available until this Friday, August 9.
