Women's South East Zone team announced

A strong contingent of local women's footballers will represent the South East Zone team at the State Women's Country Championships on July 13 and 14 in Port Pirie.

Nine players from the KNT region were selected in the 24 player squad. All 24 players are eligible to compete in all scheduled matches.

The coach of the team is Reece Duncan (Millicent), assistant coaches Michael Hunt (Mundulla) and Kristie Rowe (Millicent).

The team will have its last training run at Penola on Wednesday, July 10.

The South East 24 player squad includes:

Kybybolite: Sophie Henschke, Lucy Kramm

Mundulla: Brooke Ballinger, Tegan Roberts, Carlee Feder, Hailee Witmitz

Penola: Chloe Long, Karmel Finch, Angela Broad

South Gambier: Darcie Kuhl, Tess Andrews, Kaylene Nuske, Victoria Lucas, Kendell Saffin

Millicent: Madi Thwaites, Kelsie Wilkinson, Tracey Long, Carly Knaggs, Ella Little

Casterton: Scarlett Jarrad

Kalangadoo: Jamie Ryan, Emmason Ilsley

North Gambier: Fiona Young

East Gambier: Neave Delaney
