Tatiara Karting Club successful at recent race meet

The Tatiara Karting Club held its race meeting on Sunday, May 12.

50 karts competed on the day, with perfect weather and well prepared track, racing was fast paced and a great day was had by all.

Results for the day:

KT Medium: 1st Brett Billing, 2nd Charles Cobb, 3rd Craig Kuiper

125 Open: 1st Kirsty Murray, 2nd Damien Rasmussen, 3rd Kirk Rasmussen

J-Junior: 1st Daniel Will, 2nd Braiden Colwill, 3rd Cooper Williamson

Midgets: Annabelle Murray and Lachlan Virgin

Rookies: Tate Neale, Mackenzie Wardle, Aaidan Gartner, Erin Virgin, Ella Colwill and Jack Will

Statesman: 1st Anton Rasmussen, 2nd Geoff Billing, 3rd Bill Longbottom

KT Light: 1st Damien Rasmussen, 2nd Thomas Aston, 3rd Kirsty Murray

KT Twin: 1st Ashley Nitschke, 2nd Kirk Rasmussen, 3rd James Rodda

Thank you to all volunteers and especially all the mother who volunteered on Mother's Day.

Also congratulations to Cameron McDonough and Vaughn Colwill for bringing home State Plates from the SA State Titles in Roxby Downs on 3-5 May.

Cameron received SA 2 trophy for the KT Light and also the pole sitter award for most points heading into the finals. Vaughn is SA 3 in the Statesman class.

170 karts competed at the Desert Dirt club Roxby Downs for the 2019 SA Titles.
