The Department for Education's Parenting and Family Support team has worked closely with Bordertown Primary School to provide Tatiara parents with three free parenting workshops.
The workshops ran from May 7-9, with organisers delivering a series of parenting sessions which were full of information, covering aspects such as the basics of positive parenting and simple strategies that aim to help make raising kids easier.
Catering specifically for parents with children aged 3 to 12 years, the workshops focused heavily on the power of positive parenting, raising confident and competent children, and raising resilient children.
Parents were provided with flexible and practical tips and strategies, along with beneficial free parenting resources.
Attendees also had the opportunity to learn and chat with others in a relaxed environment and enjoy fun activities and videos.
Tracy Neldner, training officer for the parenting and family support programs, said it was exciting to bring the informative and engaging workshops to the Tatiara area.
"We are so thrilled to be able to provide parents in regional areas the opportunity to access these engaging and practical workshops in a local setting," Tracy said.
