A consistent line of 75 free-moving, heavily-muscled bulls with plenty of bone will be offered for sale on Tuesday, February 12 at 4.30pm.

The draft contains plenty of options for those seeking bulls suitable for heifer or cow matings.

Nampara offers producers a larger-framed bull with plenty of muscle and softness of skin.

Nampara bulls are renowned for their quiet temperament and ability to thrive under a range of conditions.

Some 20 bulls catalogued have been used to join heifers ear-marked for the Naracoorte Feature Female Sale in January and all bulls have been structurally assessed and semen tested.

New sires this year include sons of the $150,000 Millah Murrah Kingdom, Texas Mount K2 and US sire, MAR Innovation. Both the Kingdom and Innovation bulls are packed full of punch.

The pick bulls are long bodied and deep, combining a soft skin with extra muscle definition.

The K2 bulls have a terrific birth to growth spread and present as larger in frame but with presence and smoothness  through the front end. With a number of bulls by each sire, buyers can be assured of choice within each sire line.

Supported by above average Breedplan figures and impressive raw data, Nampara bulls do not disappoint both on paper and in the flesh.

In addition to other times by appointment, the bulls will be on display at;

  • Victorian Beef Week: Mortlake Saleyards, Saturday, February 2
  • SA Beef Week: On property at Nampara, Monday, February 4
  • Bull Sale: On property at Nampara, Tuesday, February 12 at 4.30pm;

Nampara’s honest and commercially-focused approach ensures they concentrate on calving ease, not birth weight, they only retain females who get in calf and calve unassisted by age two, they only retain females who get in calf every year, they do not foot trim or clip hair to hide faults, and they rectify any problems with bulls purchased, promptly.
