Tatiara families flock to the Bordertown Swimming Pool

In a bid to cool off from today’s 38 degree blaze, many families from the Tatiara gathered at the Bordertown Swimming Pool.

Tatiara kids Tom, Charlie and Toby (pictured above) enjoyed the afternoon cooling off, playing games and practising their swimming techniques.

The kids said the pool was great and agreed it was one of their favourite ways to spend time during the summer season.

The olympic sized swimming pool provides families a safe environment to cool off in scorching summer days.

The pool is solar heated and includes a seperate enclosed toddler area.

The area includes BBQs, a playground, shade, car parking and a kiosk.

The pool is open daily from 2 pm - 7 pm. If the weather is over 35 degrees the pool may stay open later through the evening.

Family passes, daily entry passes and season tickets are available.

The community is encouraged to utilise facilities.
