A woman has died following a fatal collision in the State’s South East this morning.
Just before 8am Monday November 19, police were called to the Dukes Highway, about 2km north of Keith after reports two cars had collided head on.
The driver of one of the cars, a 19-year-old from the South East, sadly died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, a 55-year-old Victorian man was taken to Keith Hospital before being flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The Dukes Highway remains closed while Major Crash Investigators are at the scene, traffic diversions are in place.
The young woman’s death takes the State’s road toll to 66, compared to 83 at the same time last year.
Emergency services are on the scene at a serious crash near Keith.

Initial reports are that there are serious injuries.
Police have closed the highway in both directions and are asking motorists to avoid the area.
