It’s official. Hungry Jack’s is coming to Naracoorte.
An anonymous source close to the Peregrine Corporation confirmed today that a Hungry Jack’s outlet would be part of the Naracoorte OTR store development on the corner of Smith St and Stewart Tce.
Further, the source revealed that the Subway outlet originally planned for the site will also be part of a food court at the convenience store.
The announcement ends months of speculation after Subway was named as the food outlet back in May. Read that story here
OTR has been advertising for employees for Hungry Jack’s Naracoorte for some time, but until today the plans for a Naracoorte store hadn’t been confirmed.
A significant amount of public comment followed the Subway announcement in May, and the anonymous source said that feedback had been taken into account in deciding to offer both Hungry Jack’s and Subway from the new site.
While the OTR was originally planned to open in late October/early November, Peregrine is now working towards opening in late December.
Plans for a new OTR in Naracoorte were first announced in March.
OTR has previously said: “This exciting development will offer the ultimate in convenience retailing to make life easier for the community with all services open 24/7 including locally roasted, barista made coffee, a carefully curated range of supermarket essentials, OTR’s Eat range, Moe’s Hotdogs and Shakes, automatic car wash facilities and upgraded fuel.
"The Naracoorte OTR is intended to service both the passing traffic and the community of Naracoorte who will be able to access our full range of offers 24/7.”
