A Mundulla Common Management Workshop will be held at the Mundulla Sport and Recreation Centre on Monday November 13 from 4pm.
The workshop will include a visit to the Southern Common to look at native and introduced plants, discuss fuel loads, and effective bushland and weed management techniques.
The event is being hosted by Tatiara District Council, Mundulla on the Move, and the Coorong Tatiara Local Action Plan.
The workshop will also be the launch of the new ‘Mundulla Common Management Plan’, which is a practical road map for the ongoing management of this valuable and beautiful area.
Key speakers at this event will be; Peter Tucker bushland management expert and author of the plan, and Russell Seaman, Manager of the Native Vegetation Management Unit with DEWNR.
This event and the Mundulla Common Management Plan has been funded by the Commonwealth Biodiversity Clean Energy Fund.
Topics covered by these experts will provide plenty of food for thought and an opportunity for discussion by those who attend.
A light meal will be provided at the conclusion of the workshop.
