A Ladies Lovin' Life event has resulted in $500 donated to overseas missions.
The church's mission team will leave soon to India, Bangcok and Vietnam, with the money raised, spilt towards projects in each country.
At the social event, over 100 women from around SA and Victoria joined at the Highway Christian Centre for a night of love and friendship.
Guest speakers included Sharon Merrett and Barbara Minge.
Sharon's message inspired and delighted attending women, as she spoke of anyone having been hurt to not to let the pain define who we (women) are, but rather step over it and become the women we were created to be.
Entertainment was brought to stage by dancers Jo Hudd and Louis Zeleweki and Julie Patterson who used an Olympic length ribbon.
Jo and Louis dance was contemporary in genre, smooth and flowing in style.
Adding to each special moment was each women receiving their gift, with a card reading "experience is not what happens to you.
"Its what you do, with what happens to you".
The card contained a mirror inside with which women saw themselves in.
They also received a hand-made necklace.
Ladies Lovin' Life founder Barbara Minge said the program is for women to get together, to be rejuvenated, inspired and blessed abundantly.
"Sometimes you go to a place and struggle to get the words out on an event but we had many great responses from women that attended.
One attendant said "'I left there feeling so special and precious, and I am sure everyone else did as well, it was such a wonderful experience'."
