Bus agency change

THE appointment of the Premier Stateliner Coach Group to the Bordertown Visitors Information Centre will improve public service.

Now as the agent for the Premier Stateliner Coach Group servicing SA, bookings can be made at the V.I.C., with the one pick-up and set-down point being nearby at the rear of the Bordertown Police Station on Penny Terrace.

The coach will no longer be stopping at the Bordertown Truck and Bus Stop.

Tatiara District Council’s corporate and community services manager, Kingsley Green, said “this is a great opportunity for the V.I.C. to enhance Council’s commitment to community service”.

“The staff at the Visitor Information Centre strives to provide the best possible customer service and this product will support that to a much greater extent,” Mr Green said.

To better accommodate coach customers, the opening hours of the Visitor Information Centre have changed slightly - Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm and on weekends and public holidays from 10.30am to 2pm.

The manager of the V.I.C., Chris Mackereth, said “I’m sure we can provide our customers with an even better service with the addition of this new agency and the new hours of operation.”

The Premier Stateliner Coach Group has services which cover the vast majority of SA - from the Limestone Coast to Ceduna, the Fleurieu Peninsula and to the Riverland.

The V.I.C. can now assist customers for intrastate and interstate travel, having agencies for both Premier Stateliner and Firefly.

Call the Visitor Information Centre on 1800 520 700 for timetables, bookings and further information.
