MEATWORKS employee Dean Burgess was about to brush his teeth when a car came crashing through his room.
Occurring at 5:30am this morning, a red ‘90s model Ford Falcon smashed through the south side of Bordertown’s Workers Accommodation.
Mr Burgess said “I was about to brush my teeth and I hear this car revving, the next minute I’m up against the door.
“As soon as it happened he was revving and smoke was coming through from the wheels as he tried to get out,” he said.
Accommodation manager Brian Rennie said the damage to the building is estimated between $15 - $20,000.
