SITEWORKS are set to set to start in about a fortnight on a major Keith project.
Romaldi Constructions an Adelaide based commercial builder has been awarded the contract for the construction and refurbishment of the new Childcare facility at the Keith Kindergarten.
At a cost in excess of $0.5 million, on site construction is to commence in the first week of March and the project is due to be completed in early July this year.
News that work is about to get underway has been welcomed by Keith Kindergarten Governing Council chairperson Kathryn Doecke.
She said the upgraded bathroom and toilet facilities would be welcomed.
“The floor space will be better organised and there will be more storage space and a new staff office.
“The transition for child care children to the kindergarten will be easier as they will be on the one site.
“The functionality will be better for staff and the children,”she said.
