Residents Jeff Arney and James Darling spoke in the public forum at last week’s meeting to justify their stance that there should be a new mayor.
Mr Arney was adamant during his presentation as representative of the Petitioners Group for the Tatiara.
He reiterated facts and fi gures, along with an increased number of 847 signatures on a petition opposing Mr Vickery’s position as mayor – equating to 48.53 per cent of the total number of 1745 who voted at the November 7 election in 2010.
