Recipe book to fund hospital

11 Jan, 2012 11:16 AM
THE Keith and District Hospital Action Group is in the process of finalising recipes to raise much needed funds for the hospital's survival.

Currently, the Action Group is concentrating on obtaining its quota of recipes for the book, and has already obtained recipes from well-known chefs.

Keith resident Louise Hannemann is urging people interested in entering their own recipe into the book, to hand them in before the January 20 deadline.

Louise is the initiator for the idea which came about when she was reading her Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA) fund raising cook book.

This book sparked a light bulb moment for Louise: “The book was full of interesting recipes from interesting

people, Consulate wives, Ilene Bond and other Sydney identities, so I thought why not put that forth to the Keith Hospitals Action Group - the idea flowed from there.”
