Quiet local times

01 Feb, 2012 06:42 PM
POLICE presence was at a high during the 2011-12 holiday season, and although Bordertown was relatively quiet, police kept busy patrolling.

Constable Jamie Lloyde reported that the Bordertown area was well behaved, besides a few minor incidents.

“As is usual for this time of the year, most Bordertown and Mundulla residents head to the coast to celebrate Christmas and New Years, so it made patrolling the town a lot quieter.”

The busiest time of the holidays ran from December 23 24, following the Bordertown Christmas street party, which moved on to the Bordertown Hotel.
