New Tatiara Visitor Guide launched

17 Aug, 2011 11:47 AM
THE Tatiara Tourism Group has launched its new 2011-13 Visitor Guide, with presentations by VIC staff and local guest speaker Kim Longbottom from Henry’s Drive Vignerons.

A large crowd attended last Wednesday morning, August 10, with members of the local community, committees and council present to experience a warm winter breakfast among friends.

VIC manager Chris Mackereth spoke about the visitor guide highlights of continuous improvements to the district of Tatiara and its tourism.

Chris said it had been two years since the last visitor guide was released, with the new guide having improved fonts, enhanced printing quality and contents of attractions and maps, including the Padthaway wine trails map.

A run of 25,000 guides have been printed and are expected to last for two years.
