THE heavens opened at Keith last week with the equivalent of two Imperial inches falling on the township within a 24 hour period.
When the gauge was emptied at 6am on Wednesday, 52.4 mm was recorded.
Most of the rain fell on the previous aft ernoon and evening with the Keith Crows footballers experiencing a wet and unseasonal training session.
