Christian centre upgrade

11 Jan, 2012 11:22 AM
FOR years, the Highway Christian Centre members have sat through services in uncomfortable climatic conditions, but after some successful fundraising, a new service room is under construction.

As of early December, construction of steel frames was underway and they are now nearly finished.

Electrical wiring and gyprock erection is to follow, along with ceiling installation, split-system air conditioning and lighting.

Expecting to take somewhere between three to four months, Pastor Steven Probert has been busy coordinating an efficient construction project with various local businesses, including A&L Bennett Construct, who have put in place the skeleton structure for the worship hall.
